Writing about every - lesson, feeling, memory, relationship, story, that has contributed into creating his core fundamentals in caring for people.
Saul had a panic attack in the middle of the night in 2022 and now he’s writing music about everything. He has until he dies.
Saul is a fucking sap who has absorbed movies like “500 Days of Summer” & “La La Land” in similar fashions - as a result of heartbreak - (for those unfamiliar with the 2 movies, they are “doomed romances”, they are not even “love stories”, don’t watch it expecting things to go the “right way” because “the right way” isn’t always realistic either) - and from those films, he found the underlying message of pursuing what you want as an individual to feel your self-worth and fulfillment.
Despite the journeys of the protagonists in both films experiencing the heartbreak of some form with their love interest, they both conclude that, while love hadn’t worked for them the way they wanted, they both learn that the time they spent with that person in the first place ultimately had meaning and reason. Despite falling out of love and falling apart there is still a lesson to be found beyond heartbreak. There is still a passion that we all strive to fulfill and those passions can be a separate thing from a “love interest”. The person who you are with should not determine who YOU are as a person. stay individual. stay authentic.
Love is a complicated emotion no one teaches you outright how to navigate or tells you what is “healthy” and Saul feels a lot of the problems in this lie in a lack of awareness in communicating what that looks like so that people can remember that feeling.
In Saul’s upcoming first project, we will deep dive into what a “situationship” looks like, the perspectives of someone who was in it, and the perspectives of that same someone learning to grow from it.

Beyond that,
Saul feels very strongly about “family dynamics”. In his writings, he tackles the conversation of parenthood and childhood. How can you as a parent go about having a child and somehow not care about any aspect of their life? How can you as an adult parent not see the perspective of what it might look like through their eyes seeing you as their parent? Through his writing, he hopes to illustrate how detrimental and painful a life story something like that becomes to everyone involved. He hopes to illustrate the effects of this dynamic on the parents, the children, the brother, or sister, the friends, & the family, the community, and ultimately, culture and society.
